The owners of Bluebird Care Essex have been awarded a major industry honour at the Great British Franchisee Awards.
Family duo Kevin and Tracey McCormack were delighted to receive the highly sought after title, and the recognition it brings represents a big milestone for the pair in their social care journey.
Bluebird Care Essex provides in-home care throughout Essex. Their ability to succeed, even during the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, have seen the duo take on two further Mid and West-Essex franchise territories covering Brentwood and Chelmsford, Essex as well as recent acquisitions in Southend and Rochford.
Reflecting on the pandemic period, Bluebird Care Essex development manager, Lucy McCormack, said: “At the height of the pandemic, many of our customers had fewer visits from family members, which increased their loneliness and isolation. So, we adapted and innovated to grow our Live-In Care service.
“Our customers’ loved ones saw it as a solution to not being able to spend time with them. That improved the quality of life of our customers as well as enhancing our stability as a business. We’ve also applied for our sponsorship licence which will allow us to recruit personnel from abroad as well as domestically, enabling further recruitment and business growth.”
Bluebird Care Essex feels that they have thrived during the pandemic, achieving above-forecast growth and a record turnover this past year.
Through the implementation of a clear strategy, strong guidance, communication and leadership, the leading home care provider has continued to deliver quality care to their customers in Essex.
