Home Instead Senior Care has been named the UK’s number one franchise company for the second consecutive year, beating Mcdonald’s and Snap-on Tools to the top spot.
The home care provider was recognised for its “continuous commitment to care” in the Elite Franchise Top 100 2019.
It was also rated for its financial performance, heritage, support offered to franchisees and ability to keep innovating.
Franchising contributes £15.1bn a year to the British economy and employs 621,000 people.
The Elite Franchise Top 100 celebrates this by recognising the best brands UK franchising has to offer, in an annual publication.
Martin Jones, managing director of Home Instead, said, “We are immensely proud to be the No. 1 franchise company. We have so much passion within the business for caring for our older generation. We consistently aim for excellence and to this end we believe in providing exceptional support for our franchisees.
“They are not only able to build a successful business, but are also giving back to their local community. By providing award winning care for older people, they are helping them to live their lives well, in their own homes.”
Home Instead Senior Care, established in 2005, now has over 195 franchise offices across the UK and has more outstanding ratings than any other home care provider.
