Homecare provider Right at Home Bournemouth and Poole has announced that its registered manager has been named Woman Franchise Employee of the Year at the 2019 NatWest Encouraging Women into Franchising Awards.

Helen Garland, who has worked at Right at Home for over seven years, was recognised for her work in growing the business from scratch to now employing 60 people and caring for nearly 100 clients across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

She collected the award on Thursday at a ceremony in London, which she attended alongside Right at Home Bournemouth and Poole Managing Director, Andrew Davis.

She joined me as I launched my Right at Home franchise in 2012 and has been an incredible asset to the business ever since. She’s been instrumental in supporting the business to achieve its vision to provide outstanding care and support to each and every one of our Clients and is a great source of support to Clients and colleagues alike.”

Garland added: “It’s a great feeling to win an award for a job that I love. I count myself very lucky to work and have the support of an amazing team and this award win wouldn’t be possible without them.”
