My experience with the Bath franchise was less than expected. I left a parcel with them on Monday 07 December for delivery by FedEx on the following Monday 14th to Jerusalem. I received an email from Mail Boxes Etc indicating delivery by 6pm local time on the 14th. By Thursday, using FedEx tracking system it arrived early morning in Cologne. There is stayed, and I rang the Bath office three times to ask them to find out what the problem was. Not once did they have the courtesy to ring me back with an update. I had to chase FedEx myself to see what was, or not, happening to my parcel. FedEx was just as bad, no feedback. It eventually arrived two days late in Jerusalem, still not explanation or apologies have been received to date, 18th. The attitude of the Bath office sucks, they just do not care about customer service or satisfaction.

Teaching children is fantastic and rewarding. The problem is Head Office are ill equipped or trained to cope with even the most basic tasks. You will get sent rude and unprofessional emails when they want something done and then either ignored because they're too busy or left out to dry when you ask for support. Staff are inexperienced and need chasing to get things done. The whole setup is a shambles - if you want to provide rugby classes for kids, set up by yourself!

Avoid at all costs. Nothing but a glorified used car salesman. Talks the talk but definitely doesn’t do the walk. The training promised is an absolute joke to none existent. The advertisement of paying for a van lease is false and doesn’t exist, as well as a lot of other things advertised such as equipment etc. Uses accreditation’s on his literature that are not true and they don’t know who he is. Makes up stories of big investors which don’t exist or know who he is. History of going around in circles selling franchises and nothing comes of it for the franchisees, except threats of legal action and having to pay him off to get rid of him. He thinks he is a national brand but is far from it, as he is just a two van business.He is also not thought of very highly in the pest control industry when you dig deep enough. He comes across very nice when you first meet him, but he is a nasty piece of work behind the scenes. Even his own son is on different media platforms warning people to stay away from him. He has just folded the franchise business for the second time round getting franchisees to buy themselves out after admitting he was blagging it all. He claims to be an outstanding exemplary character, but nothing could be further from the truth. If you want to hand money over and lose it, then go ahead and invest in this. You will never see your money again.

I went to Southampton for the training. The training was minimal at best. Just a few days of being shown how to open a rat box. At first the phone calls from the franchisor are everyday then they start to get further apart.The business launch was not professional. news of contracts come out, but never materialise.call centre is paid for by the franchisees. you very rarely get any calls from it, but still pay a communication fee which includes a main website and your own local website; plus Facebook. The franchisor takes control of it all, points everything at his interests/websites his phone numbers and not your business. only business you get is from your own website, which he doesn’t like and keeps trying to get everyone to depend on his site.If something does come through on your agreed area, he is known for saying he’ll do it through his office on your area. Franchisees have done work for him and not been paid. When you try to run your own business as it’s sold to you, it’s basically took off you. conference calls every Monday morning which are basically a waste of time, franchisees to scared to question anything. This is because of the franchisor’s actions against people who do question him. It then turns into threats of being in breach of contract and being sued for compensation. They come up with doing sales blitzes in different franchisee’s areas but these usually get cancelled.The franchisor spends more time concentrating on his charity bike rides, Masonic events and being on holiday and endless petty little wars with people he has fell out with, than he does the business. The overall impression is that he makes money from franchisees signing up, then they fail, he demands compensation along the lines of you have to pay for the remaining time on your contract, and then sells it again. anything that is presented to the franchisees is usually at a cost to the franchisee to make more money off them rather than pest control.

I decided last year to join My Window Cleaner as a Franchisee and I am so glad that I did because I have had full support throughout my journey from all of the staff that help run the business, and I have built up a large clientele already. Although it has been hard work, it has all been worth it and I look forward to continuing to build my business in the next coming years.

I had the misfortune to have a Bargain Booze franchise the worst mistake of my life. Working 365 days of the year including Christmas Day and New Years day minimum 14 hours per day all for nothing. I paid in over a 100k cash and ended up in the Bankrupt Court for just a 5k bill that would have been paid in 4 days. If you want to ruin your and your family's life loose all your money and health I can recommend a Bargain Booze franchise.

The excitement of the birthday parties and sharing experiments with a large group of children is great. I really enjoy visiting schools and working with them to build on the science topics pupils have been learning about in the classroom. Plus I love the challenge of creating workshops to answer the different questions and interests of my home educated groups.
