Much of the care franchise market only delivers care at home to older people and is not experienced in the delivery of more varied types of care. While these restrictive models offer a great business opportunity, we feel that it should be one of the multiple options we provide to our franchisees.
This means that where other franchisors will set you up with a business, we will support you to grow and adapt to your local market.
With an ageing population and a high demand for skilled nurses across the UK, Kare Plus has positioned itself as an industry leader, delivering quality healthcare both in establishments and people’s own homes, including Live in Care.
Unlike many of our competitors Kare Plus is privately owned, this means that we do not answer to shareholders or banks and our growth has been entirely organic, based on our reputation for uncompromising quality of care rather than a “business at all costs approach”.

With our two core franchising models the choice is up to you thanks to our two distinct, but complimentary business models; an establishment focused Kare Plus Dual Model Franchise and a homecare franchise with Homecare by Kare Plus.
Our Homecare model focuses on building a business that provides homecare and live in care services to individuals within their home environment. You will utilise your business skillset to meet demand and build lasting connections within your local community.
You can also acquire our dual model franchise which, with full support and guidance from our established franchise support team, will see you grow your business providing care services to specialist care providers, private hospitals and nursing and care home locations in addition to supporting people to remain independent within their own homes.
No matter how you decide to start your Kare Plus franchising journey we will provide you with a solid foundation on which you can build a business for yourself, but never by yourself.
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking franchisees with real passion and drive combined with outstanding interpersonal and people skills. It doesn’t matter to us whether you are an individual, a couple or a business partnership and experience in the care sector is not required.
You will be organised with great written and verbal communication paired with a can-do attitude and an urge to get things done. Being a Kare Plus franchisee is a unique challenge which will require you to take a leadership role and use your experience and good judgement right from the start.
Training and Support:
Because we have been in the sector for 30 years and originated as former franchisees for the Kare Plus Brand we understand your training needs. At Kare Plus we provide in-depth and specialist training to all of our new franchisees as well as ongoing practical support and guidance at all stages. This support isn’t limited just to operational concerns, we offer a full suite of services aimed to help you get off to a great start.
As you develop your client base and local reputation in healthcare, we will continue to work tirelessly to build the brand that you are now part of with our national level campaigns and activities. Whether this is by marketing Kare Plus on a national level, or winning places on new national level contracts, our head office team is constantly working to empower our franchisees to succeed.
The Franchise Package:
Right from the start you will be welcomed into the Kare Plus family and you will receive the following:
- The right to use the iconic Kare Plus branding or the Homecare by Kare Plus brand dependant on the type of franchise.
- A comprehensive training programme
- Access to proprietary and unique software systems
- Support with every aspect of your business including Sales, Clinical, Marketing, Finance, Recruitment, Training, IT, Software and Bids and Tenders
- Support with your due diligence, business plan development, arranging finance and finding office space
- Marketing support prior to and after opening
- A Kare Plus website and digital presence
Our Homecare Offer – Flexibility combined with a lower investment level makes the Kare Plus homecare franchise model ideal for the entrepreneur that wants to deliver quality care in people’s own homes. £25,000 + VAT with an additional minimum working capital of £50,000.
Our Dual Model Offer – As well as delivering care in a person’s own home, our dual model franchisees can also supply care into residential and nursing homes. Allowing the franchisee to run two, separate but linked business models out of one office, increasing stability and adaptability. The franchise fee is £40,000 + VAT, with an additional minimum working capital of £50,000.
Due to our experience and proven business format we have been able to develop close working relationships with many major UK banks, allowing potential franchisees the option of a loan that covers up to 75% of the total cost and the ability to break even within the first year.
